Overworked and Happy

Numb fingers and shoulder pain, that is what the busy season feels like. Shooting, editing, retouching, rinse and repeat. Good thing I love my chiropractor. No pain, no gain right?

So here's a little fun from one of my recent Senior Portrait Sessions.

Feeling Cutesy (I must be delirious from exhaustion)

Woke up exhausted but in a GREAT mood. Maybe it's because I made it through a 13 hour event yesterday, maybe because I am waiting on a phonecall about a project I am REALLY looking forward to. Either way I am trying to catch up on emails but took a lunch break and feeling cutesy. So here's some 2 adorable favorites from a session a few months ago that I am archiving.

Pimpin' Ain't Easy

"Pimpin' Ain't Easy." That's what I saw on the back of a semi on the highway today. Then I had the pleasure of photographing this million dollar property in Eden Prairie and that phrase was running around my head. I had to share my photos because I had a blast working here. How could I not?

Getting a little silly

Yasmin and I took a break from her family portrait session to get silly. Not only did she execute a perfect funny face, she was in mid-air when I snapped this silly portrait. Way to go Yasmin! Will post more later but just had to share some silliness tonight.

Kickin it Old School

Today I was photographing on an amazing property with some fantastically fun clients. I had the chance to wander their property and I found this little gem of a shot, so I had to share. I miss developing black and white film some days, and still cannot bring myself to part with my old enlarger.

Melting my heart

I am always honored when I get to photograph a special creative couple, and get to create heartwarming images. That's exactly what happened last Friday. It was a rainy day but we persevered and lucked out with a little bit of a reprieve from the storm. I am so happy how it turned out.
