Getting a little silly

Yasmin and I took a break from her family portrait session to get silly. Not only did she execute a perfect funny face, she was in mid-air when I snapped this silly portrait. Way to go Yasmin! Will post more later but just had to share some silliness tonight.

Wow that got creepy with my lighting style!

I have been practicing this winter with some intensive colored lighting and have had access to a fog machine. It's been awesome to say the least. But this session got creepy real fast with my friend Melanie.

The best type of compliment

A portrait client told me this evening after a portrait session:  "I was not looking forward to getting my photo taken today, but this was actually allot of fun!"

I actually hear this allot, and it never ever gets old. Maybe my energy and joy is that obvious, and I guess my goofiness is amusing. But I can't wait til they see the amazing photos!!

Getting a little kinky

Every once in awhile I get asked to do something kinky and fun, and if you can tell by the lighting and posing, we had a great time.

Colorful Fun

I have been having fun play with lighting outdoors. I was going for whimsical, pixie-like, fun, and I think it turned out how I was hoping. Thank you to Taissa Lada for the clothing and fascinator, and Nicole Clark for makeup and modelling.
