Ever Wonder Where the Art in Hotels Comes From?

I've always wondered where the art in hotels comes from. I had a great opportunity to work with a company IndieWalls who delivers amazing art to cool hotels. This shoot was at the Radisson Blu with a great space and some very interesting modern art.

The Feeling of Another Era

I'm so proud of this shoot, we really were going for the feeling of another era. KMK Designs made this amazing gown, and Elisabeth of Blonde Swan made the hat. I really wanted to find the perfect setting and I remembered the Wilde Roast Cafe and it's amazing peacock columns.

     

A surprisingly warm day in December

A Portrait Adventure With Zoe

Now that it's getting cold I am grateful that I got to get out an enjoy the beautiful fall this year. As a bonus I got to work with some really great high school seniors. It's very special to me to have my portraits be their yearbook photos!

Zoe was a little nervous at first, as most of my clients are, but with my direction and silly fart jokes, we had a bunch of fun and got some amazing portraits. What a an adventure!

My favorite part was at this cafe I said "how about a Parisian Cafe look with the wood and the lights?" And Zoe said "Yes, I studied in Paris for a year". Am I a mind reader or what?
