Hidden entrance to another world

I'm not a wine drinker, but this hidden gem in a client's house in St Paul makes me want to open a bottle!

She said Yes!!!!

Manan proposed and she said yes!

A Portrait Adventure With Zoe

Now that it's getting cold I am grateful that I got to get out an enjoy the beautiful fall this year. As a bonus I got to work with some really great high school seniors. It's very special to me to have my portraits be their yearbook photos!

Zoe was a little nervous at first, as most of my clients are, but with my direction and silly fart jokes, we had a bunch of fun and got some amazing portraits. What a an adventure!

My favorite part was at this cafe I said "how about a Parisian Cafe look with the wood and the lights?" And Zoe said "Yes, I studied in Paris for a year". Am I a mind reader or what?

Fun and Happy Halloween

This Halloween I photographed three events in one day. What fun!!

Here's a little sneak preview of the event Muse Event Center put on for the Heart of the Beast Theater. Nothing is better than dancing with giant puppets!!

I get to work in the best places

I have the best job in the world and get to go to awesome places. Last week I got to ride the riverboat Minneapolis Queen and had a river view of the changing colors. What a treat!

The Thinking Baby

Is it me or is someone deep in thought?

Overworked and Happy

Numb fingers and shoulder pain, that is what the busy season feels like. Shooting, editing, retouching, rinse and repeat. Good thing I love my chiropractor. No pain, no gain right?

So here's a little fun from one of my recent Senior Portrait Sessions.
